The Chelsea 281GPFJP-H8AB or 281GPFJPH8AB is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift power take-off built for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. It carries a single, continuous-duty torque rating and offers nine speed ratios spanning low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects from modern engine designs. Steel discs in the clutch pack are 80% thicker to resist premature tooth wear. Wet Spline Lubrication is available as an option, delivering 7 to 10 times greater shaft life.
