281GSFJP-B3BD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GSFJP-B3BD or 281GSFJPB3BD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO built for 10-bolt automatic transmission apertures commonly found on Allison transmissions. It mounts directly to the transmission and operates continuously, with nine available speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load. The clutch pack features steel discs that are 80% thicker than the prior 280 Series design. Rotatable cast-iron flanges reduce interference during pump installation, and the Wet Spline Lubrication option extends shaft life by 7 to 10 times.
