The Chelsea 281GSFJR-B3RK or 281GSFJRB3RK is a 281 Series hydraulically shifted hot-shift power take-off assembly designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar transmissions. The 281 Series is an evolution of the 280 Series, incorporating a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than its gray iron predecessor, an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap to improve clamp load, and clutch pack steel discs that are 80% thicker to resist premature tooth wear. Rotatable cast iron flanges improve pump clearance. The series carries a continuous duty torque rating and supports wet spline lubrication for extended shaft life.
