The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJP-B3BD or 281GTFJPB3BD, is a hydraulically shifted hot-shift PTO designed for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison and Caterpillar applications. The 281 Series builds on the proven 280 Series platform with a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, an 80% thicker steel clutch pack disc to resist premature tooth wear, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap for improved clamp load and vibration resistance. Nine speed ratios cover both low- and high-speed output demands. Rotatable cast iron flanges reduce interference clearance issues.
