281GTFJW-B5RS Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 281 Series Power Take-Off, part number 281GTFJW-B5RS or 281GTFJWB5RS, is a hydraulically shifted hot shift PTO engineered for automatic transmissions with a 10-bolt aperture, including Allison transmissions. It evolved from the top-selling Chelsea 280 Series and carries a continuous torque rating of 390 lb-ft. The ductile iron bearing cap is 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The clutch pack features steel discs that are 80% thicker than the previous generation. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high ranges.
