Designed for continuous operation, the 281 Series delivers nine speed ratios spanning low and high ranges, with output options including SAE B and SAE C pump flanges, ISO 7652 pump flange, and driveline configurations. An evolution of the 280 Series, the 281 incorporates a ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron and an 80% thicker clutch-pack steel disc design to resist premature tooth wear.
