The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282GBAJX-B3XD or 282GBAJXB3XD, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for continuous-duty operation. It handles intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range with a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft, and delivers 57 HP at 1,000 RPM or 29 HP at 500 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Compatible transmission families include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, and Volvo/Mack. The 282 Series supports nine speed ratios, eighteen shift options, and features rotatable flanges plus an integral air valve.
