The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining the 238 Series architecture with updated components. The 282 features nine speed ratios and eighteen shift options. Direct-mount outputs are available with optional Wet-Spline technology for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft outputs include a positive stop to help prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes. The integral air valve and rotatable flanges add installation flexibility.
