The Chelsea 282GDAJX-P5RK or 282GDAJXP5RK is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding continuous-duty applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shift options include pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (check application pages for actual ratings) and intermittent torque of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm).
