The Chelsea 282XKAJX-P5RK or 282XKAJXP5RK is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission applications. It shifts via pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers output through a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Continuous torque is rated at 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and the optional Smart Start feature for high-torque start-up set this unit apart from standard-duty PTOs.
