The Chelsea 282GGAJX-J3RF or 282GGAJXJ3RF is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding work cycles in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and a Smart Start option for high-torque start-up are built into the 282 Series design.
