The Chelsea 282GKAJX-A3RB or 282GKAJXA3RB is a medium-duty hot shift Power Take-Off Assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series. The 282 Series supports intermittent torque ratings from 201 to 300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and uses an 8-bolt mounting configuration. Shift options include pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) operation, with an integral air valve built into the unit. Output shaft options across the series include a 1-1/4 in. round shaft with 5/16 in. key or a 1 in. round shaft with 1/4 in. key. The Chelsea 282 Series was developed as a redesign of the medium-duty hot shift PTO line, combining elements of the 238 Series with updated components. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift configurations. Direct mount outputs include an optional Wet-Spline design for reduced wear on PTO and pump shafts. Driveshaft outputs incorporate a positive stop to prevent seal damage from driveshaft yokes.
