The Chelsea 282 Series was redesigned to combine the best elements of the 238 Series with updated internal components, supporting up to 300 lb-ft in both intermittent and continuous-duty cycles. The series offers nine speed ratios and 18 shift options. Direct-mount output configurations include an optional Wet-Spline design for extended PTO and pump shaft service life. Driveshaft output variants incorporate a positive stop to protect seals from yoke over-travel. The 282 Series also supports an optional Smart Start feature for high-torque engagement conditions.
