The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282GKAJX-J3RK or 282GKAJXJ3RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for continuous-duty torque demands. It delivers up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 8-bolt mounting pattern is compatible with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and select other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 282 Series targets aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
