The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XSAJX-J3RK or 282XSAJXJ3RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power at 1,000 RPM reaches 57 HP (43 kW). The integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and optional wet-spline output make it a fit for aerial, towing and recovery, construction, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
