The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282GKAJX-J3RY or 282GKAJXJ3RY, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for continuous-duty operation. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM and 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers, the 282 Series serves aerial, towing and recovery, construction, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
