The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBAJX-13RK or 282XBAJX13RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding vocational applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 282 Series delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional wet-spline output are built into the 282 Series design. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmissions.
