The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XBAJX-V5XD or 282XBAJXV5XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It fits transmissions from Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Continuous torque reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Rotatable flanges allow output orientation to be adjusted at installation.
