The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XBAJX-A5RZ or 282XBAJXA5RZ, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding work cycles. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts transmission applications from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. Continuous torque reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
