The Chelsea 282XCAJX-P3RS or 282XCAJXP3RS is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, a medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for continuous-duty service. This unit supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) continuous torque and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM via a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller. The integral air valve and rotatable flanges simplify installation across aerial, construction, water truck, towing and recovery, and fuel oil delivery applications. An optional wet-spline configuration helps extend PTO and pump shaft service life. A Smart Start option is also available for high-torque start-up demands.
