The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XDAJX-13RK or 282XDAJX13RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO rated for continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 8-bolt mounting pattern is compatible with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1000 RPM. The 282 Series includes an integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and an optional Wet-Spline interface for extended pump shaft service life. Smart Start assists high-torque engagement.
