The Chelsea 282XGAJX-13RS or 282XGAJX13RS is a 282 Series medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation through an integral air valve. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key and is compatible with transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft and an intermittent rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power output of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
