The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XGAJX-P3RY or 282XGAJXP3RY, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It supports pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement and delivers up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) continuous torque, with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" key. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmissions, the 282 Series suits aerial, towing and recovery, construction, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
