The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off assembly, part number 282XMAJX-P3RY or 282XMAJXP3RY, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for demanding work cycles. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible gearboxes. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key drive. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque is rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output is 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The 282 Series supports aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications.
