The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XGAJX-P3RZ or 282XGAJXP3RZ, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift power take-off engineered for continuous-duty operation up to 300 lb-ft of torque. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key and is driven by pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and select other makes. The 282 Series targets aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. Rotatable flanges and an integral air valve are built into the assembly.
