The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGDAX-P3RF or 282XGDAXP3RF, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and fits transmissions from Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and select other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Rotatable flanges and a wet-spline option are available within the 282 Series. A Smart Start option supports high-torque start-up situations.
