The Chelsea 272 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 272XKAJX-P3RF or 272XKAJXP3RF, is a 6-bolt hot-shift PTO built for medium-duty vocational work. It mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Ford, Aisin, Volvo/Mack, and RAM platforms. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key drives auxiliary equipment directly or via driveshaft. Shift is pneumatic (PowerShift pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air control valve included. Continuous torque is rated at 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); intermittent torque falls in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. At 1,000 RPM the assembly delivers 57 HP (43 kW).
