The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XGDAX-V5XD or 282XGDAXV5XD, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift PTO designed for continuous-duty operation. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built in. The series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) and continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft; verify the actual rating for your application on Chelsea's application pages. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other configurations.
