The Chelsea 282XKAJX-A3XD or 282XKAJXA3XD is an 8-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from the 282 Series, a medium-duty hot-shift PTO line rated for continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). Output power reaches 56+ HP and 41-50 kW, with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller, among others.
