The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XKAJX-A5RZ or 282XKAJXA5RZ, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for continuous-duty applications. It fits transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. Continuous torque for the 282 Series reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm); shaft power rates at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
