The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XKAJX-A5RF or 282XKAJXA5RF, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, making it adaptable to a range of truck configurations from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. The 282 Series is rated for continuous-duty torque up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with shaft power output of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM.
