The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-A3XD or 282XPAJXA3XD, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift power take-off compatible with Allison, Volvo/Mack, and Eaton/Fuller transmissions, among others. It uses a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and shifts via pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation. The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent torque range of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 29 HP (21 kW) at 500 RPM and 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM.
