The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPAJX-B3SD or 282XPAJXB3SD, is a medium-duty hot-shift PTO built for demanding continuous-duty cycles. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other manufacturers. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the 1-1/4" round output shaft includes a 5/16" keyway. Shaft power output reaches 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The integral air valve and rotatable flanges simplify installation, while the optional Smart Start feature manages high-torque engagement.
