The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XPDAX-B5XD or 282XPDAXB5XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern and compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve built into the assembly. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. This unit includes a continuous-duty torque rating, a defining trait of the 282 Series, along with rotatable flanges and an optional Smart Start feature for high-torque engagement.
