The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XPDAX-P5RK or 282XPDAXP5RK, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission families. It delivers air or hydraulic (PowerShift) actuation through an integral air valve, and its output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Intermittent torque capacity spans 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), while continuous torque is rated at 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) - verify actual ratings on the application pages. Shaft power runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. The rotatable flanges allow flexible installation, and an optional Wet-Spline arrangement extends PTO and pump shaft service life.
