The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XSAJX-P3RS or 282XSAJXP3RS, is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and mounts to transmissions from Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible units. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series supports up to 300 lb-ft continuous torque and 201-300 lb-ft intermittent torque, with shaft power of 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve, rotatable flanges, and a Smart Start option for high-torque start-up are built into the design.
