The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XSDAX-A5XV or 282XSDAXA5XV, is a medium-duty hot shift PTO built for demanding mobile equipment applications. The 8-bolt mounting configuration pairs with a 1-1/4" round output shaft keyed with a 5/16" key. Shift actuation is either pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), with an integral air valve included. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque rated at 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output runs 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms.
