The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off, part number 282XSDAX-B5XD or 282XSDAXB5XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot shift PTO designed for demanding work truck applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, and carries a continuous torque capability up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with an intermittent rating in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft uses a 5/16" key.
