The Chelsea 282 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 282XTAJX-P5XD or 282XTAJXP5XD, is an 8-bolt medium-duty hot-shift PTO compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission platforms. It ships with a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The 282 Series carries a continuous-duty torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) and an intermittent rating of 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm). Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. The series features rotatable flanges, an integral air valve, and an optional Smart Start function for high-torque engagement.
