The Chelsea 282XTAJX-15XD or 282XTAJX15XD is a medium-duty hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding applications including aerial equipment, towing and recovery, construction, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and accepts shift actuation by pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) means. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key. Intermittent torque capacity for the 282 Series runs 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm), with continuous torque rated at 300 lb-ft (407 Nm) - consult the application pages for actual torque ratings for your installation.
