The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XTAJX-V3XD or 282XTAJXV3XD, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Continuous torque capability reaches 300 lb-ft, making it suited for aerial, construction, water truck, towing and recovery, and fuel oil delivery applications.
