The Chelsea 282XTDAX-15BD or 282XTDAX15BD is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift power take-off from the Chelsea 282 Series. It delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range and carries a continuous torque rating of 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), check application pages for actual de-rated values. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round shaft with a 5/16" key. Shift options include pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic), and the unit is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP (43 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Typical applications include aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery.
