The Chelsea 288GBFJP-M3AC or 288GBFJPM3AC is a heavy-duty 288 Series Power Take-Off built on a 10-bolt, constant mesh platform. It delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, using wider gears and larger-capacity bearings compared to the 281 Series it was developed from. The cast iron housing provides durability for demanding vocational applications including snow and ice, vacuum, aerial, and refuse trucks. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects from modern engine designs. The standard output is a round shaft with a 1-1/4" key, and the positive stop feature protects oil seals from driveline coupling damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed requirements.
