The Chelsea 288GBFJP-M5RK or 288GBFJPM5RK is a 10-bolt, constant mesh Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 288 Series platform. Designed for heavy-duty applications including refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice equipment, this unit delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. Wider gears and larger capacity bearings support that rating without separate intermittent and continuous derating tables. The ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing the effects of modern engine vibration. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed needs. The standard output features a positive stop for driveline connections, protecting oil seals from shaft coupling damage.
