The Chelsea 288 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 288GDFJP-M5RZ or 288GDFJPM5RZ, is a heavy-duty 10-bolt constant mesh PTO built on the 281 Series platform with a continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. The cast iron housing and wider gear set with larger capacity bearings support a single, continuous duty torque rating. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage. The standard output shaft features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios are available, including low and high speeds.
