The Chelsea 288 Series PTO Assembly, part number 288GDFJP-M3XV or 288GDFJPM3XV, is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh power take-off built on the proven 281 Series platform. Wider gears and larger-capacity bearings support a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, making it suited for demanding applications including refuse, vacuum, aerial, and snow and ice equipment. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational damage. The standard output shaft features a positive stop for driveline outputs, protecting the oil seal from coupling damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speeds. A hydraulic hose is included.
