288GDFJP-M5XD Chelsea PTO Assembly

The Chelsea 288GDFJP-M5XD or 288GDFJPM5XD is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh power take-off built on the proven 288 Series platform. This unit carries a gear ratio of 28/47 and is designed for continuous duty service with a torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft. The cast iron housing and ductile iron bearing caps, which are 117% stronger than gray iron, handle the vibrational loads produced by modern engine designs. An O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load and resists vibration-related seal failure. The standard output features a positive stop for driveline connections, protecting the oil seal from shaft coupling damage. Wet Spline lubrication is available on this series, extending pump shaft life by 7 to 10 times. A hydraulic hose is included. Available from Pro Gear and Transmission.
