The Chelsea 288GDFJW-M5RY or 288GDFJWM5RY is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 288 Series platform. Built on the proven 281 Series foundation, the 288 Series delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger-capacity bearings to handle demanding applications including refuse, aerial, vacuum, and snow and ice equipment. The ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibrational effects. The standard output shaft features a positive stop for driveline outputs, eliminating oil seal damage from shaft couplings. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed requirements.
