The Chelsea 288GDFJW-M5RF or 288GDFJWM5RF is a 10-bolt, constant mesh power take-off assembly from Chelsea's heavy-duty 288 Series. Built on the 281 Series platform, it delivers a single continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft through a round output shaft with 1-inch, 1/4-inch key configuration. Ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap improves clamp load while reducing vibration damage caused by modern engine designs. The cast iron housing offers nine speed ratios covering both low and high ranges. The standard output shaft includes a positive stop for driveline outputs to eliminate oil seal damage from shaft couplings.
