The Chelsea 288GMFJP-M5RB or 288GMFJPM5RB is a heavy-duty, 10-bolt constant mesh Power Take-Off from the 288 Series, built on the proven 281 Series platform. The 288 Series delivers a single, continuous duty torque rating of up to 390 lb-ft, with wider gears and larger-capacity bearings compared to the 287 Series it replaces. The output shaft features a round shaft with 1-1/4" key and a positive stop design that protects the oil seal from driveline coupling damage. Nine speed ratios cover both low and high speed applications. The ductile iron bearing caps are 117% stronger than gray iron, and an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap reduces vibrational effects and improves clamp load.
